Well, we finally went! The whole 8th grade went to Knott's Berry Farm! It was such a blast. We hit every ride! Well, Julia skipped out on Xxcelerator (she wasn't ready for it...it was super intense!). Here are some pictures from our little adventure! (These pictures aren't in order of what we went on.)

Before the log ride...
On the log ride...
Getting buckled in on Supreme Scream! (This ride is NOT for the faint of  heart.) PS, I went on this ride two more times afterwards hahaha. Three was enough for me!

Ghost Rider for the second time...

Ghost Rider for the first time...

Before Xxcelerator and PUMPED! Couldn't get wait to get a load of this! (Scariest ride of all of Knott's Berry Farm...so much fun.)
On Xxcelerator! You can tell how surprised I was...very interesting take off. From  0 to 83 MPH in less than two seconds. It's not called Xxcelerator for nothing.

Totally dead after a crazy fun day at Knott's! Until next time!

On each ride (Silver Bullet, Xxcelerator, Supreme Scream, Log Ride, etc), I tried to get a video! I pulled out my camera while getting strapped in, but on every ride they told me to put it away hahaha. BUT, I did get a video on Supreme Scream (the third time we went on). Those rides were SO much fun, and totally intense! Everything I expected and more! So excited to return.

I know that this is super random, but I thought I'd blog about my EXCITEMENT! On May 17th, the whole eighth grade will be taking a field trip to Knott's Berry Farm! I am dying...I can't wait! Basically, it's been the only thing I can think about :) Here are some pictures of some of the rides I am most excited for:

This is the Xxcelterator. It is the fastest and most intense ride at Knott's. With speeds up to 90 miles per hour, and a height of over 300 feet, I can tell there will be spit flying.

This is Silver Bullet. Your feet are dangling, and there is a double loop-de-loop! The cool thing about this ride, is when you go upside down, you are on the outside of the loop-de-loop...I've never been on a reverse upside down so I'm stoked!

Another picture of Silver Bullet.

This is Montezuma's Revenge! The ride is only thirty seconds long! You shoot straight up that really high thing, and dart down it. You go once down it backwards, and once forward! Talk about weightless...

I'M SO EXCITED! It's going to be the best day ever! And the best part is, I'll be with all of my friends...and my two best friends in the whole wide world!

The Notebook.

Tracy and I had a sleepover, and we were trying to find a movie to watch. I was willing to watch ANYTHING but The Notebook, which Tracy was dying to see. So finally, I gave in, and very reluctantly started watching it. I loved it within the first five minutes (by "loved it", I mean, "I loved RYAN GOSLING".)
This is us before the movie:

This is us after:

Tracy was laughing soooo hard at me, while I was full on bawling into the couch cushions.

The moral of the story: Don't watch The Notebook, unless you are ready to be emotionally drained.

San Diego and the Nelson Family!

San Diego was a blast with the Nelson family! On Saturday, I went up to San Diego with Kelly, my mom, Lyssa, and Addi. I watched the kid's in Steve's hotel while the ladies went to a dermatology convention. We had so much fun!

The gorgeous view:

Taught the girls a dance to "Tik Tok" which they loved doing!

Lyssa didn't want to be in any pictures, so she offered to take a picture of Addi and I! Pardon my crazy lazy eye...

After we all went home after babysitting, and sampling and such, we headed back to eat dinner at Tracy and Dan's. Then, on Monday, the Milner family drove up to San Diego again, this time, with papa Milner, and hung out with the Nelson family in Seaport Village!

The cute old fashioned Coke machine.

The gang headed over to a cute little hat store with crazy hats!

Addi's "silliest face".

I'm going to miss them so much, and I can't believe I have to go a year without seeing them! I'm counting down the days until we can re-unite with them!

Hey...Brooke Got Braces!

After years of nagging my parents for getting me braces, I got them!
First, I got spacers. They are like thick, tiny little rubber bands that they put in between your teeth. Everyone that I talked to, got three or four spacers...I got 13. I got two sets of 13 spacers.
Second, I got the expander. This thing is a gleek machine, painful, death trap. Not only was I gleeking everywhere and had a massive lisp, it gave me a six millimeter gap in between my two front teeth. For the sake of your heart and soul, I won't put a picture up of the gap. I still have the expander even though I got braces. I will have that expander for the next four months!
LAST BUT NOT LEAST, braces!

Right before I got them. I bet this picture will get me 1000 boyfriends.

Yay! Braces!

(It looks like I edited my eyes a bunch, but I promise I didn't edit anything...this picture is straight from the camera. I just adjusted the color of the picture so it wasn't too bright from the flash!)

Three Amigas Christmas!

Merry late Christmas 2011! I'm so sad it's over! But now I can blog about it!
Since I spent Christmas with everyone reading this blog, I don't need to blog about it! Sooo...I'll just blog about my Christmas with my best friends and what we got each other!

Julia and Cindy got me a gift card to Sephora, cupcake flavored toothpaste and floss (yes, it is as disgusting as it sounds haha), a Build a Bear, and Cindy got me a special extra something...a cute picture of the two of us in a cute frame!

I made them a homemade present, full of hard work and memories!
They each got two jars: One jar was full of little pieces of papers that I typed up and put a bunch of my favorite memories with them. The second jar was empty, so when they were done reading a memory, they could put it in the jar! When the big jar of memories was empty, they could use the small jar to pour all the papers back in and read them again!

The top of the big jar.

The two jars together!

Top of small jar. Can you guess what JBC stands for? Hahahaha.

They wrapped my presents in this huge box so I had no idea what was inside! After we were done opening, we went out into the street and made a big mess!
(A special thank you to Stacey who helped me design and print the stickers to put on the jar!)

Merry Christmas and happy New Year! Hope this year is filled with health and happiness!

STUFF THE BUS! & Random (ft. The Three Amigas)

Julia, Cindy, and I were all accepted into a special program at our school called CJSF. It is for the kids who got a 3 . 5 GPA or higher on their report card last year at TMS, got recommended by one of their teachers, and met some other requirements (academics and citizenship stuff).
Once you get accepted into that program, you get the option to try and receive a cool medal, and get awarded in front of the whole school and their parents at an award ceremony at the end of the year.
To get the medal, you have to be a part of CJSF, and you have to complete at least 7 hours of community service.
Cindy, Julia, and I did a ton of different things together to get those hours, including working at a haunted house, scooping food onto homeless people's plates, announcing and helping out at a football game, and finally, finishing off our last two hours by sitting outside of Alberton's grocery store holding a sign asking for donations for a foundation called "Stuff the Bus".

Here are some random pictures from a few nights prior to our service hours: (Be warned...Brooke is not wearing make up!)

Catch Up.

Jon, Stacey, Caitlin, and I all headed up (and down) to Valencia to go to Tiffany's wedding reception...we had a lot of fun!

Jon DEFINITELY was glued to the dance floor, and eventually Caitlin joined him:

After we got home to Deborah's, where we stayed for the night, we pretty much crashed right away. The next day was extra fun...Stacey and Deborah planned a special surprise for us! We drove for about an hour or so, and came upon some horsies! HORSE BACK RIDING! I love horses! Here are some of the pictures from our horse adventure:

This was my horse..Ardie. Ardie was an old fella, he had some problems keeping up with the group...even though he was the first horse in line. He held everyone else up :) Then...poor Ardie stumbled on a rock and fell! With me on him! Definitely not a pleasurable experience hahaha.

Afterwards, the starving bunch ate some grub!

Unfortunately, our horse experience had to come to an end. Caitlin and I were so tired we became delusional and had a TERRIBLE case of the slap happies. We laughed at literally everything...making our passengers an unhappy bunch. Something our car should remember: Petunia, "just type in your address and they'll send you 1000$", and a bunch of other stuff. Here is a stupid video of how hard Caitlin and I laughed...at the dumbest thing! Hahaha.

After getting home and taking a long nap, we went to a nice Italian restaurant to surprise Papa and Grandma! They had no idea they would also be paying for-I mean seeing-their three favorite grandkiddies!
After we ate, we spent a little time taking pictures with-and on-random things in the town:

And last but NOT least: I got to experience a vary rare, and amazing occasion...and I captured the moment in a picture. 11.11.11

That weekend was so much fun! Now I just can't wait until Christmas!
